This document explains how Monveo may collect, use, store, and protect user information. It should be reviewed before publication to make sure it matches the final product, infrastructure, and legal requirements.

Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and login provider information when users sign in with Google or Apple.

Financial tracking information: transactions, titles, amounts, categories, tags, budgets, money sources, workspaces, assets, liabilities, and related notes entered by the user.

Voice and import data: voice input, transcription results, receipt images, payment screenshots, extracted merchant information, dates, amounts, categories, and money source suggestions.

App usage information: device information, app interactions, feature usage, error logs, and analytics data used to improve reliability and product experience.

Subscription information: plan status, billing events, and purchase information needed to manage Pro plan access.

How We Use Information

  • To provide core Monveo features, including transaction recording, income and expense tracking, budget monitoring, money source selection, asset and liability tracking, workspaces, and analytics.
  • To process AI-assisted features such as voice transcription, smart categorization, receipt extraction, and transaction suggestions.
  • To authenticate users, sync data across devices, provide support, improve product quality, prevent abuse, and maintain account security.
  • To manage subscriptions, payment status, feature access, and Pro plan benefits.

AI Processing

Monveo may process voice input, receipt images, payment screenshots, and transaction text with AI systems to extract structured transaction details. AI suggestions may be inaccurate, so users should be able to review and edit results before or after saving.

Data Sharing

Monveo should not sell personal financial data. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, AI processing, payment, customer support, and security providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect users, Monveo, or the public.

User Control

Users should be able to edit or delete transactions, categories, tags, budgets, money sources, assets, liabilities, and workspaces where supported by the product. Users may request account or data deletion by contacting hi@monveo.site.

Data Retention

Monveo should retain user data only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or support legitimate business needs. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period before permanent removal.

Security

Monveo should use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No system is completely secure, so users should keep their login credentials safe and contact Monveo if they suspect unauthorized access.

Children

Monveo is intended for users who are legally able to manage a digital finance account in their region. The app should not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent.
