Terms of Use

Last update May 2026

These terms describe the basic rules for using Monveo. They should be reviewed before publication to make sure they match the final product, pricing, and legal requirements.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Monveo, users agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If users do not agree, they should not use the app.

About Monveo

Monveo is a personal finance tracking app that helps users record transactions, track income and expenses, manage budgets, organize money sources, monitor assets and liabilities, and view financial insights.

Accounts and Login

Users may sign up or log in using Google or Apple. Users are responsible for maintaining access to their login provider and for keeping their account secure. Any activity under the account may be treated as the user's responsibility.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for entering accurate information, reviewing AI-generated suggestions, maintaining their own financial records, and using Monveo in a lawful and responsible way. Users must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the app, upload harmful content, or use Monveo for illegal activity.

Financial Disclaimer

Monveo is a tracking and organization tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Analytics, charts, summaries, budgets, and AI suggestions are informational only. Users remain responsible for financial decisions and should consult qualified professionals when needed.

AI Features

Monveo may use AI to transcribe voice input, extract receipt data, suggest categories, identify money sources, and summarize financial activity. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Users should review and correct important information before relying on it.

Subscriptions and Pro Plan

Some features may be offered through a paid Pro plan. Pricing, billing period, included features, free trial availability, cancellation rules, and refund handling should be shown clearly before purchase. Access to Pro features may end if payment fails, the subscription expires, or the user cancels.

User Content and Data

Users retain ownership of the financial records and content they add to Monveo. Users grant Monveo permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the app, including AI-assisted features requested by the user.

Third-Party Services

Monveo may rely on third-party services such as Google, Apple, payment providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics tools, and AI providers. Use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Service Changes and Availability

Monveo may update, add, remove, or change features over time. The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party outages, or events outside Monveo's control.

Termination

Users may stop using Monveo at any time. Monveo may suspend or terminate access if users violate these terms, create security risk, misuse the product, or if required by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Monveo is not responsible for indirect losses, financial decisions made by users, data entered incorrectly by users, AI-generated errors, third-party service failures, or losses caused by unauthorized account access outside Monveo's reasonable control.

Changes to Terms

Monveo may update these terms as the product evolves. Users should be notified of material changes through the app, website, or email where appropriate. Continued use after changes means users accept the updated terms.
